COVID-19 precautions we’re taking to keep you safe

We are here for you – even during a pandemic. Our patient’s safety is our number one priority, so we’ve incorporated many safety procedures and precautions to ensure the highest level of care and safety for everyone. Don’t delay a pain free life – we are safe, open and ready to care for you.

Virtual visits make seeing your doctor easier and safer

It’s an easy-to-use, technology-enabled way to visit your doctor by video using a phone, tablet or computer. Instead of going to the clinic and sitting in a waiting room, you can see your doctor using video from the convenience of your home.

Three simple steps

Schedule your visit

Ask client services to schedule an existing or a new appointment using phone or video. If you would like to use video, you’ll receive an invitation to your scheduled visit by email. Learn more about virtual visits accessed via Microsoft Teams.

Get ready

You’ll need a smartphone, tablet or computer. For video, you will also need a working camera and microphone/speakers.

Day of your visit

For phone, call in at the scheduled time. For video, plan to join the visit 10-20 minutes in advance in order to check your equipment and connection. Have your questions ready. Our clinical staff will join you first to get the appointment started.

COVID testing for every patient

Every patient receives a COVID-19 test the morning of their surgery with quick results in 30 minutes. The whole Coon Joint Replacement Institute team is also routinely tested to ensure a safe environment for all.

We take infection prevention very seriously.

You can view a complete list of carefully planned safety precautions to ensure we are doing everything we can to minimize any risk of infection. Some of these precautions include screening all employees and patients, frequent and specialized cleaning, a universal masking policy, visitor restrictions and social distancing.
